Crea Shakthi School of Drama

Report on 2014 – 15

Post the success of the pilot launch in December 2013, Crea-Shakthi school of Drama launched from 1 centre in R.A.Puram to 4 centres across the city – this included Thoraipakkam, Anna Nagar, besant Nagar & continued at the R.A.Puram branch.

From 23 children – the strength over 4 centres increased to 101 with a day long performance on 15th February 2015 at The Music Academy mini hall that featured over 18 short plays ranging from fairy tales to scripts promoting social awareness, and down right crazy comedies which had the audience in amazement on how the children had developed over the 8 month course.

Heres some feedback from the show;

Good effort…little more rehersals, better stage movements and stage effects can bring even better creative output! Pl update about summer camp! Also inform if any Hindi Play for adults/children

Really wonderful performance. It was such a perfect ending to the wonderful experience and enrichment the kids had over these past 8 months. Crea-Shakthi teachers have done a stupendous job in my daughter's case. Her improvement in public speaking and confidence has improved leaps and bounds with this class.
